Ford Falcon PCMTec - Torque Reductions

The Factory Falcon Torque Control strategy is complex, like most modern ecu's it uses a combination of Ignition timing, throttle and Fuel reductions or cuts to control the torque output of your engine while driving. These can be as simple as a throttle cut that stops you from stalling the engine up on the brake, to a series of complex torque monitors and cuts that limit torque for different loads and rpm during each gear and gear change. 

Your factory tune is calibrated for a broad range of drivers, and to reduce stress on factory components (less warranty claims). Once you start Up-tuning your engine and upgrading engine and drivetrain components you and reduce the amount of torque cut requested under certain driving conditions to give you a better driving experience, and help make your car quicker and faster.

This product is a PCMTec Parameter file which gives you a good base to reduce factory torque reductions for most situations. If you require specific custom calibration you can add remote support to your purchase.
